Myzchev Kennel - Belgian Shepherds Home I have been involved in Belgian Shepherd for 12 years now. I have titled my dogs in conformation, obedience, agility and endurance. This website is about my story and the wonderful dogs I have been privledged to have been owned by. I also would like to mention some very special people who have helped me along the way. Firstly my late father Luke Didsman, for believing in me and my dreams and for his wonderful support, and for also falling in love with this breed to the point he had to get one for himself. Sue Waring for entrusting me with my first Belgian Shepherd 12 years ago and who to this day remains a firm friend. My mentor and dear friend Shelley Rumble, whose help when it comes to understanding breeding has been invaluable. Barbara Liliom who has been a wonderful friend who I can chat with and bounce ideas off when needed, and for dropping everything when I need a hand with whelping. I am not a big time breeder, nor do I pretend to be. I only breed when I want something for myself to continue my own bloodlines and to forge ahead with my own plans for my kennel. Therefor I breed only occassionally, with much thought and planning going into each litter. With each litter I hope to improve on type and temperament with a view to soundness of body and mind. I hope to breed Belgians that are ready, willing and able to do whatever their owners ask of them. My dogs are my family and live in the house, when not sunning themselves on the sundeck or hooning around the backyard. Nor do I believe in getting rid of my dogs when they have outlived their “usefulness”, once they are mine they are here for life. My current dogs range in age from 12 yrs – my first Belgian Be Be, Angel is 6, Kizzy is 2 and my youngsters Gucci and Starrlet who are just about to turn 1. To find out more about my dogs and their individual achievements, please go to my “Dogs” page. But the best way to judge my dogs is to meet them and see for yourself what they are like. I hope you enjoy my site and more importantly enjoy my dogs. Cindy Didsman October 2007 |
