| Myzchev Kennel - Belgian Shepherds It was not until 1995 that I was in a position to get my first Belgian, in the meantime I became the very proud owner of a rescue. A Kelpie who I registered as Black Mischief, her call name being Misty. During this time I decided on a breeders prefix and decided to honour Misty. I chose the prefix Myzchev [pronounced Mischief] I liked the irony of all my pedigree dogs being named in honour of my little associate registered Kelpie – Black Mischief CDX, ADM. In 1995 I became the proud owner of Belnoir Midnight Magic [Be Be], my very first Belgian Shepherd. Be Be and I learnt a lot together and she was my first Australian Champion. Be Be also gained her CD and ET titles along the way. In 1997 I became the owner of Lanaken NMidnite Starr [Sophie] Sophie gained her Australian Championship title and was multi graded excellent at specialty shows on the east coast, winning two reserve challenges along the way. Finally in 2001 a dream come true, I had my first Belgian Shepherd litter on the ground. I was lucky enough to mate Sophie to Lanaken Orion AD JD a Tervueren that I co-owned with my parents. This produced 6 lovely puppies, 3 boys, 3 girls, all Groenendaels. From this litter I kept a girl, who was registered as Myzchev Angel N Disguise [Angel]. Angel has since produced her own litter, my B litter, of which I have kept 2 girls. Myzchev Be An Angel [Gucci] and Myzchev Black Starr [Starrlet] both who are showing early promise. For more information on my dogs please look at their individual pages J In 1994 I applied for and after passing all the requirments was granted my obedience judges license and in 1995 I gained my agility judges license. I have been involved in all aspects of obedience from competing, training [was a senoir instructor at CCC] and judging. I was also lucky enough to have been involved in agility since its inception in Australia. I am now a full panel obedience, agility/jumping and Endurance title judge. I have judged all over Western Australia, and have judged for Springwood and Parramatta Clubs in NSW. I also was honoured to judge the Pedigree National Teams Challenge in 2001. While I love conformation, my first love will always be in the performance arena. I am a life member of Cloverdale Canine Companions Inc, currently serve on the committee of the Working Dog Club of WA Inc and am the founding President of the Belgian Shepherd Dog Club of WA.
